UBC Press is the publishing branch of the University of British Columbia. It was established in 1971 and is among the largest university presses in Canada. We publish more than forty new books annually and have a backlist of 700 titles.

The Press is a member of the Canadian Association of University Presses (CAUP), the Association of American University Presses (AAUP), the Association of Canadian Publishers (ACP), the International Association of Scholarly Publishers (IASP), and the Association of Book Publishers of British Columbia.
In addition to its publishing division, the Press offers distribution services to selected foreign publishers.
